Reconnecting to your core and pelvic floor after birth: Level 1
This workshop helps new moms re-connect to their core and pelvic floor after birth. We explore possible causes of pain and discomfort, learn to asses and work with any ab separation (diastasis recti), and start to introduce movement into the post partum body. This workshop is ideal for early postpartum or anyone looking to get back to movement safely.
You will leave with knowledge about:
Pelvic organ prolapse and what solutions are available
Perineal Tearing and side effects
Incontinence: types and what solutions are available
Other possible pain causes: LAM, Cesarean scar tissue,
Diastasis recti, how to asses your own, and who to work with for further help
Core and Pelvic Floor breath awareness
How to asses what movements work for you
A 10 minute rehab workout to get you started on your journey back into fitness

A continuation or stand alone workshop for moms who are returning to strength training, running, or mild – moderate body movement classes after birth. In this workshop we explore
You will leave with knowledge about:
Body discomfort and gaining body confidence after baby
How to assessing the whole self when returning to fitness postpartum
Diastasis recti, how to asses your own, and who to work with for further help
Guidelines for returning to cardio workouts
Guidelines for returning to strength training
Strength exploration with body weight and therabands
Modifications for pelvic pain, DRA, and pelvic organ prolapse

Private Consultation:
A private session is for you if you would like to hone in on your specific needs, discomforts, and goals postpartum. I offer 3 categories of private sessions: Postnatal Yoga, Postnatal Strength, and Setting Foundations.
Postnatal yoga sessions are good for those looking to continue their practice but may not be ready to return to a class setting, and for those would like create a a strong foundation for their return to wellness postpartum.
Postnatal strength sessions are good for those who had a mild to moderate gym practice and are interested in modifications for postpartum pains and discomforts, those who are new to strength training and would like to start a practice at home.
In these sessions we will:
Set and move towards your movement goals
Discuss any body discomforts or pains and possible solutions
Asses your postpartum body as part of the whole postpartum picture
Help reconnect you to your core and pelvic floor
Go over modifications you can make for where you are
Create a space and time for your movement practice
Create a self care routine that will support you
Create a home practice that will work for you
Each package includes 3 sessions to be used over the course of three months.
Suggested equipment:
Postnatal yoga: yoga mat, 2 blocks, 1-2 belts, bolster ( or hard cushions), blankets
Postnatal Strength: superbands mild and medium resistance, resistance bands, weights 5,10 lbs,
yoga mat

Setting Foundations session:
Although continued sessions are recommended to stay on track with your postpartum goals, sometimes you may not know where you want to start and are just interested in assessing where
you are now.
In this session we will:
Discuss your movement goals
Discuss any body discomforts or pains and possible solutions
Introduce you to core and pelvic floor breath awareness
A gentle movement assessment
Start to set a plan for your postpartum recovery
If you have taken the foundations session and would like to continue with either Postnatal Yoga or Postnatal Strength you will receive a 25% discount on those packages.
