Core + Pelvic Floor Reconnect: 4-week Postpartum Yoga Series

Mondays Starting Feb 10, 12:30 – 2:00pm
Reconnect to yourself in this 4 week postpartum yoga series focused on core, pelvic floor, and full body wellness. Connect with Mamas in your community and learn how to set the foundation for a successful postpartum recovery.
Come for comprehensive sessions on:
- Pelvic floor symptoms – such as incontinence, prolapse and PGP.
- Diastatsis Recti – what it is and how to incorporate healing into your every life.
- Alignment and posture after baby.
- Postpartum mental health.
- Restorative and mindfulness techniques to calm the nervous system.
- Full-body conditioning through yoga, and how this applies to your existing workouts.
Each session will build from the last. Leave with information on Postpartum sex, abdominal wraps, cesarean scar tissue massage, body confidence after baby and a unique 10-20min at home program that can be used for months to come.
This series is for Mamas who are minimum 6 weeks Postpartum (cleared for exercise by their healthcare providers). No max, Postpartum is forever! Who have given birth vaginally or by C-section. We will provide all props, worksheets, info packs. Babies 0-6 months (pre-crawlers) welcome.

Mindful Mamas: 4-week Postnatal Yoga Series
Location: Yoga Union 37 W 28th Street
Thursdays starting Oct 10 11:15am – 12:15 pm
Connect with Mamas in your community and learn how to set the foundation for a successful postpartum recovery. Breath, movement, and discussion will blend together to help you reconnect to yourself, your core, and your pelvic floor.
Learn how to:
Safely lengthen and strengthen your abdominal and pelvic floor muscles.
Stretch and strengthen the upper body, relieving tightness you may be feeling from nursing/feeding/carrying a newborn.
Align your posture in poses and in everyday life activities.
Rest and restore your energy with breath and mindfulness techniques
This series is for all Mamas who have given birth vaginally or by C-section. Participants must be minimum 6 weeks Postpartum and cleared for exercise by their healthcare providers. No max, Postpartum is forever! Babies 0-6 months (pre-crawlers) are always welcome.

Birthing From Within: The Labyrinth of Birth
Location: Private sessions at your home
Time: 1.5 hrs
In these workshops pregnant families will be guided through an exploration of pain coping in birth. They will discover their baseline for pain coping, and walk away with tools that they can utilise in labor and birth. Parents will also explore the journey into birth and the return to self. This workshop is ideal for parents who are looking to dive deeper into their exploration of pain coping, and the spiritual journey into birth. It should not take the place of a full Childbirth Education course and does not cover such things as: stages of labour, interventions, cesarean awareness, birth positions, what to have in your hospital bag etc.
