Backpain plagues almost 80% of Americans at some point in their lives. With lower back pain being the single leading cause for disability world wide. As research in to this areas grows it has been proven that most surgeries can be avoided by the practice of movement. Yoga can help people suffering from backpain (herniations, scoliosis) to ease their pain and help them rebuild strength and flexibility.
I am currently undergoing my 100hr backcare certification from Yoga Union Backcare and Scoliosis centre from world renowned backcare yoga instructor Alison West, who holds the only backcare certification training in the world. She has studied yoga for backcare for almost 3 decades and I continue to enhance my teaching and practice under her watchful eye.
