I began taking yoga classes at a young age, nearly 20 years ago, thanks to my mom, who teaches Iyengar Yoga in Canada. Although my relationship with this ancient science was touch and go to start, wherever I travelled and relocated to in the world, from Canada to England to the USA, the practice of yoga has always been there to ground me and help me reconnect with my inner self.
For the last 5 years I have been practicing almost daily and expanding my studies and training. Yoga has carried me through times of emotional struggle, displacement, injury and of course joy. It has acted as the constant in my life through my journey and all of its ups and downs.
I am an avid traveller and take my practice with me on the road wherever I go! I love food and nature and in a very recent past life I played the role of a corporate film producer and on-air host. I am of French and Japanese heritage, am currently residing in NYC and have a magical ability to find 4 leaf clovers wherever I go!
I have studied many forms of yoga including Iyengar, Ashtanga and Vinyasa and my main practice and teaching are rooted in the foundations of alignment.
